New product feature release 3 of 3

Over the past few months, we have been working hard on creating and releasing features that improve user experience and increase accuracy when it comes to our occupancy metric. This post explains the last of three product feature releases, namely our pose estimation camera calibration feature.

Camera Calibration

Camera Calibration

In order to provide accurate social distancing measurements, the user can calibrate their cameras in the Lanthorn.ai interface through two steps. First, the user needs to select four corners of a 3ft x 3ft (1mx1m) square on the floor. Second, the user adjusts the points on the camera feed to make sure the square is adjusted to the floor plane and scale. This feature is also useful to other pose estimation models. Visit Neuralet.com for an overview of our R&D work in pose estimation.
